What the AI actually does
Most "AI comic" tools stop at generating a picture from a prompt. koma.ink does the writing too: Claude turns your idea into a script with a title, named characters, and panel-by-panel dialogue, and you can edit any of it before a single panel is drawn.
Once the script looks right, the AI draws each panel in your chosen style and letters it: speech bubbles, captions, and sound effects are placed and typeset automatically, not left for you to add by hand.
Formats and styles
Choose the shape of your comic before you generate: Strip (one row, 3-4 panels), Page (4-6 panels), Story (2-3 pages), or Webtoon (vertical scroll, 4-6 panels).
Then pick an art style. koma.ink currently offers 8: Western, Manga (black and white), Webtoon (manhwa), Cartoon, Indie, European (BD), Noir, and Sketch.
Characters and edits
Characters stay consistent across panels through character sheets the AI builds as it writes. You can also add your own characters with reference images if you have a specific look in mind.
Nothing is final until you say so: redraw any single panel, edit bubble text inline, and use "Next episode" to continue a story with the same cast later.
